This Week in First Look - March Week 3

Who made me? God made me!

This month, our goal is to let toddlers and preschoolers know that God made them - they are fearfully and wonderfully made - and that makes them SO special! We will share bible stories, play worship videos, and engage your preschooler in hands-on activities that remind them that God made them carefully and loves them completely!

NEW IN FIRST LOOK:

The toddler room has been revamped! Because we have so many older toddlers who will be headed up to PreK this fall, we wanted to go ahead and start letting them experience the great things they will do in PreK!

Your toddlers will dance and sing to worship videos, watch the clubhouse video that depicts the life app in a relatable way, and experience hands-on activities that remind them that God made them!

From PreK Parent Cue:

HOW TO COMMUNICATE IN A WAY THAT VALUES YOUR RELATIONSHIPS

By Carey Nieuwhof

I think it's kind of fun that God puts families into a little box called a home—where they bump into each other daily for years on end—and tells them to love each other. Nice experiment.

It's always amazed me that many of us have a tendency to communicate least graciously with the people who are closest to us. When you are in close quarters, small irritants often become large issues, and we end up speaking to our family in a way we would never communicate with anyone else. And who are we often most kind toward? Perfect strangers. Go figure.

How we communicate is as or more important than what we communicate. I'm not saying truth doesn't matter (it does), but isn't it true that sometimes you can say exactly the right thing in precisely the wrong way? . . .
