Virtual First Look Experience - Sunday, March 29

Updated: Mar 29, 2020

Hello families!

We are so excited to have you join us for a Virtual First Look Experience!

We hope this is an exciting way to learn as a family what it means to Follow The Leader - Jesus! In order to keep it simple, we have laid out the experience in 2 simple steps. (Note: If you have a child in K - 5th, check out the Virtual Village Kid Experience as well!)

Have fun!

Step 1: Worship & Bible Story

This video has a worship song for kids, and they can even follow along with the motions! The video continues with Ollie & the crew at The Clubhouse to sharing all about the Bible story and how to apply it to our lives!

(Video not playing? Watch it here!)

Step 2: Complete the Family Guide

Head in to your small group - hint: that's your family today - and work on the Family Challenge and activities in the Family Guide! (The Family Challenge can be found on this page, below the Family Guide; or, you can find it on our Facebook page!)

Family Challenge

For this week’s Family Challenge, gather any (or all) of the following objects and build your very own masterpiece! You could create a piece of furniture, a robot, a house, a portrait of grandma, a flower, a monster... the sky's the limit! Just use your imaginations as a family and make these objects work together to become your very own DIY creation! We can't wait to see what you come up with, so be sure and share your creations on on this week's Facebook post with the hashtag #DIYFamilyChallenge for a chance to win your family a prize!

Objects to gather (any or all):

Legos or building blocks

Dry noodles

Coat Hanger

Paper clips

Baby doll or stuffed animal

Race car

Rubber band(s)

Deck of cards

Plastic cup

Popsicle stick(s)

Bonus: Additional Resources

If your family would like to continue the conversation of forgiveness throughout the week, check out the Parent Cue Cards linked below! Parent Cues are a great way for us as families to initiate conversations and engage our kids in the time we have together.
